All Health Plan participants may be interested in some statistics for 2004 concerning the MedTrak Prescription Discount.

 There were a total of 11,158 prescriptions filled.  The discount card saved employees from all the companies a total of $154,528.31.   That is an average of $13.85 saved on each prescription.

 The management fee charged to the Health Plan was $8,450.10.  That means for every .76 cents the Health Plan spends to manage the discount on the prescription, the employee realized a savings of $13.85. 

 This is a benefit that has really helped the employees stretch their health dollars.
