Wasn’t I just outside this last Sunday playing
baseball with my grandson and with the temperature
reaching 70? And today we get more than a dusting of
snow, temperatures in the 20’s and March winds. Just
normal changes in weather for Iowa at this time of year!
We too are experiencing some changes at the Dewitt
office. Karen Mooney, HR Manager, has accepted an
opportunity in her hometown to become the Executive
Assistant to the Director with the Clinton Area
Development Corporation. We thank Karen for the
contributions she has made to the success of Wendling
Quarries over the nine years she has been with us. Good
Luck, Karen!

At this
time we welcome Carmen Billick to the DeWitt
office staff. Carmen will initially be assigned
various administrative responsibilities at
Wendling as we prepare for what looks to be
another good year.
