Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA, approached Manatt's, Inc. to participate in the conversion of their natural turf football field into a first class synthetic turf football field. Manatt's agreed to help Cornell and teamed up with Prograss and Civil Design Advantage to help design and re-construct their field. The project included excavation, fine grading, subdrain systems, engineering fabric, and base courses, along with a concrete curb and a turf nailer. Once Manatt's completed the final grade to within a 1/4 inch, the grade was turned over to Prograss for the synthetic turf installation.
